 ”Comparative Study of Japanese-Chinese Longevity Enterprise” is published by the Center for Chinese Business Studies as research series No.1 in March 2020.
 It is the results of the Japanese-Chinese Longevity Enterprise research project jointly carried out by Center for Chinese Business Studies of the University of Kitakyushu and the Research Center for Chinese Family Firm of Sun Yat-Sen University from 2016 to 2018.
 The cooperative research project on Japanese-Chinese Longevity Enterprise has temporarily come to an end.

 

Profile of the Joint Research Organization


Center for Chinese Business Studies of The University of Kitakyushu

 

 Founded in August 2014, be attached the Business School (K2BS) of Kitakyushu University. It is committed to the research on the East Asian Chinese business/Chinese Enterprises, develops globally-minded human resources, organizes business seminars, promotes international exchange activities by utilizing networks with overseas universities and research institutions under academic exchange agreements, and provides business support to local companies with an interest in East Asian business.

 In 2016-2019, it published the international cooperation research paper collection“ business cooperation in Asia”. The director of the center is Professor Wang Xiao-ping.

 

Research Center for Chinese Family Firm of Sun Yat-Sen Universityr

 

   Founded in 1999, it is committed to the investigation and research on the system and culture, governance mechanism, business inheritance, innovation and sustainable development of Chinese family business. It has cooperated with China Federation of industry and commerce to publish the report of Chinese family business and the 30-year series of family business startups. It also pays attention to the research and development of the theory and management practice of Chinese family enterprises, the international comparative study of family enterprise system, and actively provides consulting and entrepreneur training guidance for the management practice of family enterprises. The director of the center is Professor Li Xin-chun.

 

Summary of Research

 

  “Comparative Research on Sino-Japanese Longevity Enterprises” consists of two parts. The first part is the overall analysis, composed of 2 chapters; the second part is the case study, composed of 6 chapters.
